Catalog description

"Beyond the Brand: Harnessing Emerging Technology in Ethical Sourcing”, offers invaluable insights into the ethical considerations and technological innovations driving sustainable and responsible supply chain management. This course explores the intricate balance between leveraging emerging technologies and adhering to new trade regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and the broader implications of globalization. The course provides a curated exploration into global trade & supply chain risks, ethical sourcing practices, mitigating factors, and how emerging technologies might be used to enable systemic change. A key issue is verifiable evidence that doesn’t create unintended consequences and the list of technologies that can be applied covers the landscape of emerging tech: AI, web3, zero knowledge, DIDs, satellite imagery, verifiable claims, IoT sensors and more. Of course, technology alone cannot solve these problems, so we'll also talk about policy impacts and system change and the evolution from voluntary reporting to mandatory reporting.
