Catalog description

Art Direction for Games builds on the foundation for visual thinking and literacy that begins in the introduction course, Intro to Visual Communication. Students will be taking the fundamentals and literacy gained in that class, and applying the theories to practical, objective ends. In this course students will individually and collaboratively art direct 3 game projects, from concepting, development to execution. This courses aims to expand student’s knowledge and expertise over dynamic visual systems on and off the computer, with a special emphasis on visual design for digital games.
