This course will present quantum mechanics (QM), quantum computing and communication in a non-technical manner, focusing on basic concepts. It will cover the foundations of QM, Einstein's philosophical objections to the interpretation of quantum measurement, quantum entanglement, up to present day potentially revolutionary applications of QM in information technology.
