Catalog description

“How to Build a Big Fat Fluffy Brain” focuses on understanding and implementing the neuroscience and psychology underlying optimizing our cognitive, emotional and mental health. You will get the basics of human brain anatomy and neuroscience including how the neuron and glia cells of our brain make us the people that we are. But science and theory is only part of this course. This course is also designed to be practical, putting the neuroscientific and psychological concepts that you learn into everyday practice. The ultimate goal of the course is that you end the semester with many new tools to improve your cognition, emotional regulation, and overall stress and anxiety levels so you can make the most of your NYU experience.
