Advanced Animation Production II

Advance Animation Production II is the second semester of this full year (two semester) course which will culminate in a finished animated short film with a sync soundtrack. During this second semester students will be taken step by step through the process of cleaning up rough animation, creating final production art with backgrounds and compositing all these elements together as final picture -or- for students creating 3D computer animated or stop motion films, creating the final animation. Both groups will spend the final third of the semester in post-production completing their films. Advanced Animation Production is designed to meet individual needs in concept and technique. Use of varied equipment, mixed media techniques, and a personal approach to content is strongly encouraged. An opportunity to work closely with the instructor for additional instruction, critiques and advice both during and outside class hours. Individual development is stressed. This course is allocated as a Production Core for Film & TV majors. COURSE SUBJECT TO DEPARTMENTAL FEES. THIS COURSE HAS PREREQUISITES. Non-majors must process a ""Permission Notice for Non-Majors"" form to register for the course (subject to availability).
