Introduction to Sports Medicine for Primary Care

Catalog description

This is a one week introduction to commonly seen orthopedic conditions seen in the primary care setting. Students will have hands on review of the musculoskeletal exam and will feel proficient in preforming an exam by the end of the week. There will be review of commonly seen injuries through formal presentations as well as through review of clinical cases. The student will be expected to present a case at the end of the week which will make up part of their overall grade.
