Catalog description

“This course introduces students to theories of environmental education while developing skills in place-based program design, including grant writing, logic models, budgeting, and curriculum development. Students learn to critically assess and design programs on a wide range of topics of interest to them such as habitat protection, pollution, urban gardens, sustainability, climate action, etc. Through readings, discussion and independent projects, students create innovative culturally responsive programs to increase environmental literacy both locally and globally."
