Catalog description

This course covers aspects of chemistry relevant to engineering students who have not taken FOS 3. It covers reaction kinetics, acid base chemistry, and some applied topics relevant to Civil engineering, including the chemistry of construction materials and aspects of environmental chemistry, including carbonate chemistry and water hardness, the global carbon cycle, and pollution.
