Power System Operation and Control

Catalog description

This course addresses modern power system operation and control problems, along with corresponding solution techniques. The primary focus is on the application of control, optimization, and machine learning methods to power system dispatch, stability analysis, load-frequency control, automatic generation control, and voltage control. It is recommended that students take ECE-GY 5613 Introduction to Electric Power Systems beforehand or have completed a similar course.
