Principles of Dental Hygiene I (didactic and clinical) is an introductory course for the dental hygiene student, designed to introduce and integrate scientific knowledge, skills and judgments necessary for prevention of diseases of the teeth and surrounding tissue. Manual skills will be developed through laboratory and clinical experiences. .
