Clinical Practicum I: Pre-Clinic

Catalog description

This course introduces students to basic concepts of the clinical experience, including diagnostic principles and procedures in CSD. The course builds on working knowledge of information related to a variety of communication disorders and focuses on diagnostic assessment, clinical writing, and clinical materials and equipment. The clinical experience is introduced through weekly seminars, simulated cases, videos, etc. Clinical practicum experiences are supervised by ASHA-certified and state-licensed professionals.
