Experiential Learning Seminar: Core

Catalog description

This 1-credit course supports students pursuing credit-bearing internships by connecting academic concepts to real-world STEM experiences. Through a shared course experience, students will reflect on workplace culture, organizational structure, and early career skills such as professional communication and goal setting. Course content is designed to foster foundational career readiness. All students in the internship course complete this core curriculum, with additional assignments and topics required for those enrolled in the 2- and 3-credit versions. Grading is based on academic work, not internship performance and placement.
