Catalog description

The 3rd -year Periodontics Clinic practicum focuses on the treatment of patients with uncomplicated inflammatory periodontal diseases, and represents the first opportunity for students to treat patients with periodontal diseases. Students chart, diagnose, and prepare case analyses under close supervision of the faculty. This course serves as a basis for students to be able to manage more advanced cases in their 4th year. This course is open only to students in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Core curriculum.
