Catalog description

The student will become competent in the acquiring, assessment and interpretation of radiographic images. The course also provides the student with skills in collection of patient histories (medical, social, family), performing a head and neck exam and managing the medically complex patient to include assessment of medications for side effects/interactions. The student will also develop skills in accurately recording patient information in the EHR (axiUm). This course is open only to students in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Core curriculum.
