Catalog description

The nonprofit sector makes up a large segment of the labor force and provides virtually the same earnings potential and advancement opportunities as the corporate and governmental sectors. However, many people are not sure how their finance, communications, research, or people skills can transfer to this increasingly popular market. In exploring the nonprofit world, this workshop examines where the jobs are and how to get one, and explains the benefits of working in this sector. Participants also learn useful strategies for networking, targeting, and researching nonprofit employers.
