This course covers an introduction to groundwater hydrology and remediation, including the characteristics of confined and unconfined aquifers, flow through porous media, groundwater and well hydraulics, groundwater quality and pollution, strategies and regulations pertaining to the remediation of contaminated sites, and an overview of soil and groundwater remediation technologies and design. Eligible for undergraduate seniors and MS students. | Prerequisites: (Undergrad seniors and CE-UY 3243 ) or permission of graduate program adviser. Antirequisites: CE-GY 7233 , CE-GY 8493
