Catalog description
The independent study program offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to investigate an advanced topic with a faculty member in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Areas of study may include research methods, clinical interviewing, systems of care, and education and training. With advisement from the program, may be taken 2 times in total (for up to 8 credits in total) for different topics of study. No student may take more than 8 credits total of independent study in CAMS-UA and no more than 12 credits of independent study and/or internship in CAS as a whole.
