Catalog description

This course equips students with the tools and frameworks necessary to evaluate, design, and prepare a new venture for launch. Students will explore both traditional entrepreneurial planning and contemporary lean startup methodologies as they assess opportunities, validate market demand, develop business models, and build practical startup strategies. Through a semester-long team-based venture development project, students will collaboratively create and refine a startup, nonprofit, or entrepreneurial venture concept from idea generation through final pitch. Emphasis is placed on strategic planning, market validation, financial feasibility, operational readiness, and persuasive venture communication.
