Catalog description

This course covers topics in neurobiology that apply to specific human disorders. We will discuss a range of topics including cognition, learning, and memory centered around three disease case studies in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Students will practice and acquire skills in current literature research, by reading and analyzing the primary literature in these topics. Students will also develop research ideas, and acquire effective scientific presentation skills.
