Bio Core I: Molecular Systems

Catalog description

This intensive team-taught core course surveys the major areas of up-to-date molecular biology, molecular genetics and systems biology. Topics include the molecular structure and function of proteins and polynucleic acids and their fundamental roles in cell biology and disease. A strong emphasis will be placed on novel experimental approaches that form basis of the current wave of discovery in biomedicine.
