Catalog description

This course includes specific topic modules tailored to the NYU Dentistry Advanced Specialty Education programs, illustrating how each module supports specific specialty training and enhances clinical practice. Some topics are unique to our environment, while others provide general skills applicable across specialties. Each program director selects the modules aligned with their standards, ensuring relevance to their specialty. The following modules will be presented: Anatomy Workshop, Clinical Research Design, Contemporary Caries, Diversity in Practice/Cultural Competence, Ethics Workshops, Emergencies in Dental Medical Practice, Introduction to Basic Radiology and CBCT, Introduction to Biostatistics, Introduction to Pedagogy, Introduction to Radiology and Anatomy, Institutional Review Board (IRB) Seminar, and Practice Management.
