General Pathology

Catalog description

General Pathology covers the molecular, cellular, tissue and organ changes which occur in disease. The course includes reversible cellular responses to injury, cell death, innate and acquired immunity, inflammation, soft tissue wound healing, bone wound healing and osseointegration, developmental and genetic disorders, immunopathology, neoplasia, addiction, environmental and radiation associated pathology. This course is open only to students in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Core curriculum.
