Covers Archaic through Hellenistic periods (eighth to first centuries B.C.E.). Provides a chronological survey of Greek architectural tradition from its Iron Age origins, marked by construction of the first all-stone temples, to the late Hellenistic period, embodied in the baroque palace architecture reflected in contemporary theatre stage-buildings.
