Catalog description

Fashion exhibitions play a crucial role in preserving cultural heritage, showcasing design innovation, and fostering creativity. They expand knowledge and offer insight into historical, social, and political contexts and illustrate how fashion reflects and influences society. This course offers students tools for interpreting fashion exhibitions and a behind-the-scenes lens into making them. It also prompts students to think about different sites for fashion curation and display: from art museums, to commercial galleries, to store windows.
