How to Change the World: Behavioral Insights and Public Policy in LMIC

Catalog description

As an interdisciplinary course, this class leverages the understanding of human behavior to design policy solutions by enhancing students’ abilities to analyze policy problems using evidence from applied psychology and behavioral economics. The curriculum focuses on how behavioral biases affect individual decisions, influence policy outcomes, and are relevant in field settings, not only in the lab. Students will develop skills to better communicate analyses to policymakers, turning insights into real-world change. This course is open to all majors.
