Catalog description

This course teaches foundations of statistical inference in the context of applied research. Assuming some prior exposure to probability and statistics, this course covers topics such as the principles of estimation and hypothesis testing, and the application of these topics to the general linear model,including scientific computation. This course thoroughly explores the frequentist approach to inference by delving into mathematical theory and the implementation of related statistical algorithms.
