<p>Examine various types of fire alarm systems required under the current 2008 New York City Building Code and the updated 2013 Code for office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals, and public assemblies. Topics include building code requirements, sequences of operation, system installation methods, filing, approval and sign-off procedures. The course also covers fire alarm system maintenance and testing requirements under the N.Y.C. Fire Code.</p>
