It provides a framework to identify, understand, and analyze banks' key performance metrics. It covers (1) Unique aspects of their business model, (2) An overview of the key assets and liabilities, (3) an Overview of key revenue and expense items, (4) Key accounting standards and their impact on financial statements, (5) Key performance metrics and drivers of ROE and price-to-book ratios.
