Catalog description

This course is a continuation of WELD 130. Students will be given the opportunity to certify on a variety of steel thicknesses from 1/8” to 1” with or without backing material according to AWS and ASME codes. Additional safety will be covered up to an OSHA 10 card level. Other topics covered include distortion control, repair, surface, and hard-faced welding. Laboratory work parallels lecture material.
