Catalog description
This is a generalist course in case management that prepares the practitioner to provide comprehensive services to clients on micro, mezzo, and macro practice levels. It provides students with the ability to assess a clien t’s individual needs, provide appropriate referrals as necessa ry, and learn about agency structures. The course has several goals: to identify necessary information about clients, to learn how to gather information, to learn quality in report writing and ot her types of documentation, to lea rn how to review and in terpret reports from othe r professionals, to use information to assess client status, and to work with clients and colleagues to meet the goals and objectives of the helping process. Core Course: Must be passed with a grade of “C” or higher.
