This course focuses on the mechanisms of d isease and d isease effects on the human body. It emphasizes the disease process, basic concepts, terminology, and common diseases of each body system with normal anatomy and physiology compared to the pathologic anatomy and physiological malfunctioning due to the disease process. It also covers diagnostic methods, disease management, treatment modalities, and pro gnosis.
