Catalog description

This course deals with the fundamentals of air conditioning service. Students test, repair and troubleshoot residential and commercial air-conditioning systems. Topics covered include properties of air psychometry, the psychometric chart, piping of residential and commercial systems, and controls in air conditioning. Students become familiar with proper air distribution, wiring of low-voltage thermostats, and proper procedures in both residential and commercial air - conditioning systems
