Catalog description

This course includes an in-depth discussion of such heating devices and furnaces and portable electric heaters, radiant heating panels, electric baseboard heating, unit heaters, electric hydronic boilers, and centrifugal forced-air electric furnaces. This course also covers the automatic control of forced-air electric furnaces, including multiple stages, thermostats, low voltage circuits, and fan motor circuits, and airflow for these furnaces, including the sensible heat formula. Several wiring diagrams are included, preventative maintenance procedures, and typical experiences with technician service calls.
