This course is a study of basic physical laws pertaining to states of matter, temperature, heat energy, and refrigeration theory. Topics covered include refrigeration systems and cycles, refrigerants, compressors, condensers, evaporators, metering and control devices, electric motors and controls, basic servicing, and the use of tools, equipment, and instruments.
