This course focuses on the m echanisms of disease and disease effects on the human body. It emphasizes the disease process, basic concepts, terminology, the most common diseases of each body system, with normal anatomy and physiology compared to pathologic anatomy and physiological malfunctioning due to the d isease process. It also covers diagnostic methods, management, treatment modalities, and prognosis.
