Introduction to Electronic Health Records

Catalog description

This course is designed to give students a working knowledge of computerized information systems utilized by health information management departments. Students will examine the many facets associated with the introduction of electronic health records with the initiative to enable them to respond in a knowledgeable way to the re-shaping of the way in which patient information will be managed in the health system.
