Advance Pole Climbing and Electrical Worker Safety

Catalog description

This course provides advanced instruction on safety, inspecting equipment and poles, climbing wooden poles and other utility structures. The course engages students in setting and pulling poles and effective rigging methods. This course introduces students to the skills necessary to safely work on electric distribution systems. Safety areas include pole top rescue, confined space rescue and correctly using personal protective equipment.
