Catalog description

The visual communication design course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of visual communication principles and the practical application of industry-standard design tools. Throughout the course, students will explore the theories of design thinking, visual semiotics, and visual rhetoric to develop a deep understanding of how visual elements convey meaning and influence communication. The course will emphasize the integration of design theories to create visually appealing final products using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and YouTube. Students will learn to critically analyze and apply these theories to their design projects, ensuring that their work effectively communicates ideas and messages.
