Catalog description

Physics for Educators is a class on fundamental physics topics: Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves and Oscillations and their application to applied physics: Geophysical Fluid Dynamics, Atmospheric Physics and Oceanography. An added value to the class is that working through the modules that consist of practical work as well as the lectures, the students will be able to connect the basics, conventionally taught from physics books, with current research. There are 30 modules assigned to the class plus 8 interactive discussions. Each module guides the student through a specific topic through preparation for the lecture to practical work.
