Prerequisite: RNBL 4051Applications of power electronics as used in inverters, driving motors using H-Bridges, control systems for battery charging and alternative power storage. Power distribution, integration with smart grids and cyber security issues and solutions for distributed systems. This course will involve modeling of renewable energy topics using MATLAB.
