Physics of remote sensing using radio, microwave, infrared, visible, and ultraviolet instruments. Topics will include both passive and active systems for measuring atmospheric temperature, composition, and dynamics. Shares lectures with PHYS 4032, but is graded separately and additional graduate-level work is required.
