Catalog description

Normally offered: Spring unless otherwise. Prereq: consent of instructor. Project in which a student works with a member of the atmospheric physics group on current research. This project includes data analysis and a written lab report, conference presentation, or contribution to a published paper. The research includes a lab component that may include experimental, field, or computational investigation and thus counts toward the 2 labcredits for the physics department lab science requirement. The student should contact the appropriate faculty member within the first two weeks of the semester in which the course is to be taken to organize a project.
