Prerequisites: PHYS 1320 or 132; MATH 2532An introduction to geometrical optics, aberration theory, image formation, Fourier optics, radiometry and photometry and engineering practice in working with optical systems. The course will also introduce optical fabrication concepts and optical coatings.
