Catalog description

Entrepreneurs are the cornerstone of economic growth; they must be organized and armed with the tools necessary to raise capital, recruit talent and negotiate contracts. This course is an overview of the various organizational forms used by entrepreneurs, sources of capital available to growing companies, and mechanisms and methods for accessing that capital. Emphasis on practical, hands-on activities that demonstrate this process. Shares lecture with EMGT 5003. Additional work required at the graduate level.
