Catalog description

This class covers the basics of carbonate sedimentation and diagenesis and looks at the evolution of carbonate sediments through geologic time (from Precambrian to recent). Included in the class are discussions of the impact of diagenesis on petroleum reservoir and aquifer potential. Shares lecture with GEOL 4025 with additional expectations for graduate credit.
