Catalog description

Petrographic analysis and interpretation of sedimentary rocks, with emphasis on siliciclastics. Topics include: grain identification and provenance, identification of diagenetic minerals and textures, and interpretation of porosity and permeability characteristics. Shares lecture/lab with GEOL 4024, but is graded separately and additional graduate-level work is required
