Catalog description

Prerequisite: Graduate Standing in Chemical Engineering or consent of instructorThis course will discuss the application of engineering and scientific principles to study complex chemical reaction systems such as non-ideal reactors and multiphase reactors. Particular emphasis will be given to simultaneous effects of chemical reaction and mass transfer on non catalytic and catalytic reactions.This course shares lectures with CHME 4086, where assignments differ based on graduate level or undergraduate level credit.
