Theory and practice of separation science with emphasis on selective mass transport, extraction, chromatography, and electrophoresis. The graduate and undergraduate versions of the course share the same lectures but differ in assignments and examinations, with additional expectations for graduate credit. Shares lectures with CHEM 4013. Offered on sufficient demand.
