Molecular structure; theories of the chemical bond; perturbation and variation methods; electronic and magnetic properties of molecules. The graduate and undergraduate versions of the course will differ in the assignments and exams, while sharing the same lectures. Shares lecture with CHEM 5025, with additional expectations for graduate credit. Offered on sufficient demand.
