Application of chemical principles to the study of the environment. Includes natural processes and pollution problems related to water, air, and soil. The graduate and undergraduate versions of the course will differ in the assignments and exams, while sharing the same lectures. Shares lecture with CHEM 5022, with additional expectations for graduate credit. Offered Spring semester, even years.
